The tile works of Dianna Rose come from the homeland of the spirit. Symbolic landscapes, totem faces and animal magic mark this territory where art, life and spirit are one and the same.

The tile works of Dianna Rose are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork. The tiles themselves are the product of the union of the four elements: Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. This, coupled with inspiring visions, makes for powerful images that speak, heal and move those places where our spirit resides.

Dianna works with a color palette of nearly 200 color glazes. Each tile/mural is individually designed, hand glazed, signed and fired by the artist. Many of the tiles come with their own story. Her work is installed architecturally as well as displayed in private art collections.

Full moon summer nights against a Montana sky provide all the enchantment needed to open the doorway to rich dreams. Spirit Dancing Lake is home for these late evening feeders. Dragonfly teaches us to feed the dreams that can usher in new realities. The light of the full moon illuminates the dark. The night offers sustenance that can enrich our lives and take us into the new day. The waters of this lake remind us of the fluid nature of life; it is our movement within life that creates our reality, our own spirit dance.

Lightning Woman

Lightning Woman is both the Rider and the White Horse of the Four Winds. She is the messenger who brings the wisdom of the ages from the heavens to the earth, the guardian whose watchful gaze oversees future generations.

The papoose is her right arm, meaning we are not separate from our children and must safeguard their rightful heritage. Just as we would not cut off our right arm, neither can we cut off our children and deny them what is rightfully theirs. Lightning Woman wears a robe of the green earth, the blue sky and the white wisdom of the ages. It is the knowledge that within heaven and earth is the wisdom to keep sacred a life for all the children of the earth. Within such guardianship lies the survival of the species.
